evil, but not too evil

I got me a copy of the Garden State soundtrack, which I picked up at the Princeton Record Exchange, because our favorite book and music store has sold out. That's ok; I was able to give some money to a local store rather than the "community-destroying, soulless" chain store. The folks behind the counter probably wouldn't set in foot in the store, unless they had to do it ironically. Doing a bookstore like wearing a trucker hat.
Back to soundtrack...I have decided i really dig The Shins, so I will have to listen to the roommate's collection. Ithink i caught the boat late on them. Actually, I think I have to swim after it, but anyway, they rock. The movie has a perfect use of a Simon and Garfunkel song too, during arguably the best scene in the movie. It really deserves a second viewing.
On a completely unrelated note, I have a friend who is trying Pre-dating. I'm guessing it's like speed dating. You besically get 6 minutes to chat with someone, and then you go on to the next one. I don't really care for the bar scene, and sitting in a coffee shop, reading a book and listening to the ipod doesn't seem to start as many conversations as you'd think, (kidding.) so I may have to do this. I can pretend to be socially outgoing for at least a few hours, right.
I might also start on that eharmony thing. I'm still kind of hesitant about internet dating, but considering my dislike for bars and such, I may have to wake up to reality.
Man,I am all over the place. Check out the Garden State web site. Zach's got a blog.
