I know you, I knew you

Went in to Princeton to see Garden State. I enjoyed it, for them most part. There were some parts that were just a bit cloying, but i think the good stuff far outweighed the bad. Plus, it had a killer soundtrack, so I'll have to pick it up some time this weekend.
I think I may not have passed an interactional pop quiz last night. I guess since we live in a world of coincidence and fate or whatever, there is always a small probability that you may bump into someone that you have known at one point or another. The real test lies in remembering the person's name in the two or three seconds that you have to make contact. Actually, I think it came to me just now! Liz!
Anyway, I didn't remember that last night. I remembered that we worked together at the store, and that she went off to Crete for the summer. I think I even have a postcard lying about somewhere.
The conversation was short, perhaps shorter than i would have liked it to be. I couldn't keep up the conversation past the quick pleasantries because i must paniced from not remembering her name. I felt like a bit of a punk.
Oh well...I'll have to be more on the ball the next time around.
