It could just be that I live in Princeton, Preppy center of the world, but I've noticed a strange phenomon. The retro-preppy look has come back, beating the hipster look to the ground like a punk ass. I don't know when this happened. I thought it was firmly entombed in the 80s, dead like Wham! I think we have Gap to thank for this.
After the electricity went out at my apartment, I went into to town to the movies. I saw "Silver City" tonight, and I really enjoyed it. Kinda makes you think that everything is inevitable, the powers-that-be will always win, and the little guy is always gonna get screwed over. Not quite warm and tingly. However, they got a few good swipes at Bush.
