Think of the pizza. Think about how nice it is away from the strip malls and the asphalt. Think of how nice spring and fall are, and how much fun summer is!
It's been snowing for five hours now, and it's gonna keep coming down something fierce for the rest of the evening into to tomorrow morning.
At least I don't have to go anywhere for the rest of day. I went to Hopewell earlier to bring my dad some food--otherwise he'd have been bored beyond belief watching the gallery, not to mention hungry--and the roads were already to get pretty messy. It doesn't help that my car isn't very good in the snow. That's one benefit the old toyota had. The higher-profile tires gave the car a better grip on the snow.
I was kind of annoyed today that there hadn't been much plowing and that the roads were as bad as they were. Where the hell were the plows!
Right now, the cat is staring out the window, looking at the snow. I'm listening to Peter Gabriel's "Here Comes the Flood."
I like watching the snow fall. It mutes everything, from colors to sound. It's so peaceful.
