Ever have one of those nights when you try to be cynical and sarcastic, but you just can't seem to gather the energy to care? All the witty one liners aren't hitting their mark.
I was going to post something about politics. I usually latch on to one thing that pisses me off and then go from there. However, with Congress firmly entrenched in a republican majority for at least two more years, everything's going to piss me off, so I'm going to have to find another way. For now, it's basically nuthin' except screw the people over this way, screw them over that way.
I did have a great customer yesterday:
Me: Hi! How's it going? Did you find everything you were looking for?
Him: Blank stare
Me: Would you like to receive coupon in your email?
Him: Deer caught in headlights gaze
Me: Have a nice night.
Him: Look over yonder glance
Now, the dude didn't seem to have a hearing aid, but I'm going to put the last of my faith in humanity in the idea that maybe he didn't speak English.
