I'm back at work now, after a rather annoying cold had left me indoors for a few days. I did venture outside last night to run a few errands, and I grabbed a quick dinner at McD's, but horror of all horrors, I couldn't even smell the french fries. One of the pleasures of french fries is being able to smell their greasy, potato-y goodness.
I listened to Bushie's press conference last night. I thought he was much more confident that he was in past conferences, and he didn't seem to goof up. His answers about Social Security were impassioned, but I didn't hear him explain were he was going to make up the money that would be diverted into personal savings accounts. I've heard that that could be up to $2 trillion dollars, which we'd most likely have to borrow. Don't we already have between $7 and $8 trillion in debt as it is?
