Leaving an impression on the walls

In a little over a month, I will be leaving my current rectangular dwelling for a new place in a small Jersey town called Hopewell. The new apartment is all about character and uniqueness, and it's the place I always wanted to have during college. So, I guess I'll be living my college dream several years after the fact.
There are several restaurants, a bar, a pizza place, and a coffeeshop within walking distance, and I've never lived anywhere where I have the convenience of a downtown like that.
I've been at the current place six years, and there have been good times, certainly, but bad times as well. This new place will be a fresh start, kind of a big-scale "shifting of the furniture." I can leave all the bad stuff here.
It's been a rather good year, and this new place should make the next one pretty cool, too.
I'm wondering if this place is haunted?
