So far! My apartment has a washer and dryer hookup, and my landlady was nice enough to give us a washer and dryer that were just taking up space in a home she and her husband are building (I say home, but mean giant-ass mansion). They were rather dirty, and I thought they may not fit up the stairs, but alas, what sounds do I hear coming from my kitchen/utility room? The wooshing of a working washer!!
We dragged the buggers up on friday, and the roommie and I did a preliminary cleaning over the weekend, but I only now set about to hooking everything up. Man, if this thing works, I'll never have to go to a laundromat again!
I've accomplished one of the tasks I've set for today, so I'm happy.
UPDATE: Seems I set up the water hoses incorrectly, putting the hot water hose on the cold water faucet, and vice versa. It would be reasonable to assume that the hot water faucet is on left and the cold on the right. HA! Silly me, I was unreasonable. Anyway it's fixed and it still works.
