One of the pleasures of having a long driveway with an incline is that you can practice luging down it with your car after it snows.
3-6 inches of snow my ass. There was a bunch more on my car this morning as I started to dig it out after the snow storm last evening. There was even more on the 40 or so feet of driveway I needed to clear.
Of course, clearing the snow was one thing. I still had to drive up a small incline, which was impeded by a rather thick layer of ice. After I spent an hour or so ruining my tires, and after a failed kitter litter on the ice experiment, I bought some de-icing salt over at the convenience store across the street. Worked like a charm.
So, I'm wet and cold, but at least I'm ready to head of to work.
