Over the last few years, I've been lucky enough to live in towns that enabled to walk to places to get ice cream/coffee/run errands, etc, and I've yet to tire of the novelty.
Tonight, at 9ish, I headed off into P-ton to get some ice cream at the Bent Spoon, as I haven't been there for a while and I wanted to spend $3 on a surprisingly small, albeit very tasty, cup of ice cream. On the way there I was thinking about how great it was being able to do this, and that I couldn't imagine living in a town where I didn't have that ability.
Of course, when I get there, Irealize the place is closed. Uh. That kind of blows.
However, plan B!! Another great thing about Princeton is that there at the least 3 places for ice cream, so I headed to Thomas Sweet.
Mission accomplished.
Ice cream. It's the small pleasures I like.
