So, after a year of having a carcass of a laptop in my living room, I've decided to order a new hard drive for my Powerbook. That was the easy part. Now I have to hope my oppossable thumbs will be up to the challenge of fixing the thing! If everything goes right, I'll have my laptop back, and I'll be able to have a computer while on vacation in a few weeks. Yay!
Wait. Vacations are meant to be opportunities to get away from things like computers...
Update: currently, my laptop is in several pieces on my dinner table. I now have to find a way to get two stripped screws out. Grr.
