I am generally a poor implementer of plans that I make, so my theory is that if I write them down, I'll be more inclined to actually follow through. Maybe I'll actually follow through just to avoid how crappy I feel when I look at this post in a year and realize I didn't do any of it.
Anyway, my plan:
1) Sign up for a GMAT sooner rather than later so that I can take it in September/October.
2) Concurrently, begin researching graduate business programs that combine both marketing and psychology, or ideally offer a program that deals with consumer psychology or consumer behavior.
3) Apply to at least five schools that offer programs that I think will work.
4) Figure out a way how to pay for it all and still be able to pay the bills I have (ie, determine which of the superfluous organs I can do without. I'm looking at you, second kidney.)
5) Be prepared to pack up the U-haul for whichever school happens to accept me. (I hate u-hauls and moving. Meh. It's not like I don't like the area, but I guess I'm getting antsy anyway.)
Wish me luck. Or, better yet, keep asking me how i'm progressing with this.
