* Last month, I had this silly idea not to eat french fries for a month. Sillier to let my colleagues know of said plan. Now I can't cheat. I could go for some fries right about now. Stupid addiction.
* Watched "Almost Famous" for the first time since I saw it in the theater. Much better movie than I thought it was back then. When I first saw it, I thought the scene in the bus where they started singing "Tiny Dancer" was contrived when I first saw it, but now I think it works. What a great scene. And Kate Hudson was fantastic. Her performance had so many more subtleties that I didn't catch the first time.
