One of my resolutions for the new year is to update my resume. It would be easier if I actually knew what I did!
The last year has been quite...odd...at work, and our department has taken on many more tasks than would normally be within our purview. For me in particular, I have to figure out a way to fit in "financial analysis" into the tasks of a common copy editor. That, and perhaps a whole bunch of other tasks that aren't on the job description I signed up for a few years ago.
I think this year will be one where I put a renewed focus on my career and move forward in one way or another. I've been stuck a while too long where I am and need to find something that is closer to what I want to do and engages me somehow.
So, I have opened up a Word document and put in my name and contact information. Now comes the hard part.
