Drive!

One thing that has noticably changed about me since I moved up to Jersey those many moons ago is that I have become a much more aggressive driver. It's not like I tailgate or anything, or even excessively speed, but I'm more than willing to skirt past people who aren't pulling their speed-limit weight. Nothing aggravates me more than when traffic is moving along at a nice clip and I come up to a car that's going 5 to 10 mph under the speed limit. That just drives me batty.
You can notice it everywhere. In the supermarket, when you have to drive your cart past the people who have no idea where they are going next. The bookstore too, as people amble up to register, slow as snails, and get distracted by something shiny on the front tables, as I'm waiting at the register to check them out.
Yeah, I know, that's irrational. Bookstores are a place where people are allowed to amble about slowly, a reprieve from a hectic society. Doesn't mean I have to like it.
I guess people operate under different internal clocks. Could also be that I drink too much caffeine.
