Long week done

I'm so happy the week is done, and I don't have to do anything and be anywhere. Just listening to some great tunes with the folks here.
Monday was a full day in the city, Tuesday and Thursday I went to Clinton, and on Wednesday I worked at the bookstore.
This evening has been completely uneventful, which is just fine.
My friend in Fla. and I are planning to take a trip of some sort trip. It needs to be adventurous, but not to the point of defying gravity. We were thinking whitewater kayaking, so I went to the bookstore to find some info, but i didn't really find anything.
Anyway, I need to do something adventurous to reaffirm that I'm alive. Working in a cube all day, while it pays the rent and feeds the cat, is just deadening. I have these "Office Space" moments when I think that people weren't meant to sit in cubes all day. It would be fun to get back out to nature and away from all this man-made stuff.
