This blog is apparently becoming shark-attack central.

This puts the kabosh on wanting to learn how to surf. This happened in an area near Destin, Fla., where my sister and her husband go on vacation. I might be wrong, but attacks on the western shores of Florida happen rarely.
It takes things like this to remind us we are still part of this world, and while we may be on top of the food chain, when we go into habitats where the wild things are, we are as likely to be prey as anything else.
